• HOW TO CALCULATE BEST OF FOUR SUBJECTS PERCENTAGE

SUBJECT 1	Language Core	English , Hindi or Elective	Example(Score) 88 (English)

• COMMERCE STUDENTS

The TOTAL score would be 88 + 94 + 90 + 92 = 364

Percentage is 91 % calculating the average out of 400 .

Calculating Best of Four Percentage, if a candidate does not include the subject in which admission is sought in the best of four, a disadvantage of 2.5 percentage points may be applied . Make sure to keep the subject of your admission choice in your BEST FOUR .

• SCIENCE STUDENTS

Percentage is 93 % calculating the average out of 400 .

Procedure for calculation of ‘Best of Four’ subjects percentage:-

1. One Language (Core/Elective/Functional)
2. Subject in which admission is sought (Discipline I)
3. Any two other academic/elective  subjects (as defined earlier)
